New Barton Street area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and effects of the Orders is as follows:

  • North east from 2m north west from the north westerly projected kerbline of Stapleton Street to a point 5m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Stapleton Street
  • North east from 5m north west from the north westerly projected kerbline of New Barton Street to 5m south east from the S easterly projected kerbline of New Barton Street
  • North east from 5m north west from the north Westerly projected kerbline of Saxby Street to a point 5m south east from the south easterly projected kerbline of Saxby Street
  • North west from a point 5m south west from the south easterly projected kerbline of Helena Street to a point 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Helena Street
  • North west from 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of New Herbert Street to 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of New Herbert Street
  • Both sides from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for a distance of 5m westerly 

Stapleton Street

  • Both sides from its junction with the north easterly projected kerbline of Park Lane for 5m north easterly direction
  • South east from 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street to a point 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • Both sides from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for 5m south westerly

New Barton Street

  • Both sides from its junction with the north easterly projected kerbline of Park Lane for 5m north easterly
  • Both sides from 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street to 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • Both sides from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for 5m south westerly 

Saxby Street

  • Both sides from its junction with the N easterly projected kerbline of Park Lane for 5m north easterly 
  • North west from a point 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street to 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • South east from 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Rattenbury Court to 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Ratternbury court
  • South east from a point 5m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Helena Street to 5m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Helena Street

Rattenbury Court

Helena Street

  • Both sides from its junction with the south easterly projected kerbline of Saxby Street for 5m south easterly
  • Both sides from its junction with the N westerly projected kerbline of Park Lane for 5m north westerly

New Herbert Street

  • Both sides from its junction with the north westerly projected kerbline of Park Lane for a distance of 5m in a north westerly direction
  • Both sides from its junction with the south easterly projected kerbline of Saxby Street for a distance of 5m in a south easterly direction 

Claremont Road West

  • From its junction with the south easterly projected kerbline of Stapleton Street for 5m southerly
  • From a point 5m north from the north westerly projected kerbline of New Barton Street to a point 5m south of the south easterly projected kerbline of New Barton Street
  • From 5m north from the north westerly projected kerbline of Saxby Street to a point 5m south of the south easterly projected kerbline of Saxby Street
  • From a point 5m north from the north westerly projected kerbline of Park Lane to a point 5m south of the south easterly projected kerbline of Park Lane

No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday to Friday, 8am and 5pm on: 

Park Lane

  • North east side from a point 2m north west of the north westerly extended kerbline of Stapleton Street, in a north westerly direction for 68.7m 

Swinton Park Road 

  • North side, from a point 26m west of its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Delamere Avenue, for 27m westerly.
