Monton Road

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Monton Road, Salford) (Taxi Rank, Goods Vehicle Loading/Unloading) (Amendment) Order 2024

The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following restrictions:

Proposed Taxi Rank, All Days 7pm to 4am on: 

Monton Road

• All that part of the north east side, which is bounded on the south eastern extended kerbline of Gordon Road for a distance of 27 metres in a south easterly direction.

Proposed Goods Vehicle Loading/Unloading, All Days 4am to 7pm on: 

Monton Road

• All that part of the north east side, which is bounded on the south eastern extended kerbline of Gordon Road for a distance of 27 metres in a south easterly direction.

The effect of the order will be to introduce the following restrictions:

Proposed Taxi Rank, All Days, All Hours on:

Monton Road

• North east side, from a point 34 metres south east from the extended south eastern kerbline of Mirfield Drive for a distance of 11 metres in a south easterly direction. 

Proposed Limited Waiting Parking Places, Monday To Saturday 7.30am to 6.30pm, one hour, no return within one hour on: 

Monton Road

• North east side from a point 15 metres south east on the south eastern extended kerbline of Mirfield Drive for a distance of 19 metres in a south easterly direction.
