Monton area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The City of Salford (Monton Area, Salford) (20mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2024

The effect of the proposed order will be to implement 20mph Zone on the following lengths of road for their entire length:

Alfred Street, Algernon Street, Belmont Street, Carlton Street, Crawford Street, Dalton Street, Foundry Close, Francis Street, Gordon Road, Granville Street, Highfield Drive, Howard Avenue, Lansdowne Road, Mirfield Drive, Nelson Avenue, Partington Street, Stanier Avenue, Vincent Avenue and Monton Road from the outer ring roundabout with Monton Green to a point 50m south east from the south eastern extended kerbline of Hawthorn Avenue.

A copy of the proposed order and plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above orders may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
