Howard Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Howard Street and surrounding area) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024 

The effect of the order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on: 

Howard Street 

  • East side, from a point 10 metres north from the northerly projected kerbline of Byrom Street, for a distance of 37 metres in a northerly direction.
  • West side, from a point 6 metres north from the northerly projected kerbline of Quay View, for a distance of 31 metres in a northerly direction.

City of Salford (Howard Street and surrounding area) (20mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2024 

The order shall introduce 20mph Speed limit on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated under the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 on: 

Howard Street, Steeple Drive, Wythop Gardens, Kershope Grove, Stanyard Court, Chambers Field Court, Sangster Court, Quay View, Byrom Street, Enbridge Street, Rowland Street, Isaac Close, Gertrude Close, Joule Close, Netherland Street, Hawkshaw Court and Montford Street from the westerly projected kerbline of Howard Street to its cul-de-sac end.
