Pay and display charges and payment options

In 2022, Salford City Council upgraded all pay-and-display car parks with new machines that accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and coins. Additionally, cashless payments are available through the RingGo app, or you can purchase monthly, quarterly, and annual season tickets via MiPermit.

To identify if the car park you are visiting has RingGo payments please go to RingGo locations finder page.

For season tickets please go to MiPermit Salford City Council Cashless Parking and Digital Permits (subject to limited availability).

Parking charges and tariffs are displayed on information boards and machines at each car park. A pay-and-display ticket must be obtained and displayed on your vehicle's windscreen, or you must receive payment confirmation through the cashless service provider, even if you are parking for less than the free 30-minute period available at some sites.

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) may be issued to vehicles that do not adhere to the car park's conditions of use.

Blue Badges

Blue Badge holders may park free of charge, with the clear display of a valid disabled badge within the windscreen of the vehicle.
