People Services Recruitment Officer

The opportunity:

Salix Homes is an award-winning social housing provider with approximately 300 employees. We invest in our people because we believe they are our greatest asset and, as part of this ongoing commitment, we have recently introduced this new position of Recruitment Officer.

Reporting to the People Services Talent Manager, and sitting within the wider People Services Team, this position will support them in the design, delivery and monitoring of recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced individual who can successfully co-ordinate and respond to resourcing requests, participate in recruitment and selection activities and onboard new starters, from offer to completion of their probationary periods.

You will act as an internal consultant to the organisation, working closely with members of the leadership team and colleagues both within and outside the People Services Team.

You will be encouraged to bring your initiative, excellent communications skills, and keen eye for detail to this position as you provide high quality candidate experiences and support the organisation to effectively induct new starters.
