Order Picker - weekends

Hours: Saturday 7am to 12pm and Sunday 10am to 7pm

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Location: Irlam

Role and responsibilities

The purpose of this role is:

• To use scanners, barcodes/ serial numbers to accurately record information
• To safely locate, pick and collate orders for customers based on requirements
• To package completed orders safely to protect them during shipment
• To ensure all retrieved items match the order specifications and are in good condition
• To meet the speed and efficiency targets as specified by supervisors
• Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and Quality standards

Qualifications and education requirements

No formal qualifications are required for this role, full training will be provided.

Essential skills

• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to use a barcode scanner
• The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment for long hours standing, walking and lifting
• Physically fit
• Able to work individually and as part of a team
• Good timekeeping
• Attention to detail
