Hours: 36 hours per week, first team member: Eccles Leisure centre, second member: Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre

Salary: £19,559 per annum

Location: Salford

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good communication skills
• Can handle enquiries from customers effectively
• Has good motivational skills
• Has commitment to a high standard of customer care
• Is able to work on own initiative
• Is able to work as an efficient member of a team
• Consistently demonstrates SCL’s behaviours

As part of the interview process, all applicants will be assessed on the following:

• Jump/dive into deep water
• Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
• Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
• In deep Water, tread water for 30 seconds
• Surface dive to the floor of the pool
• Climb out unaided without ladders/steps and where pool design permits

Note:

Successful candidates who do not hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) must be available to attend an NPLQ course / assessment on the following 6 consecutive dates:

Sunday 20 October - Friday 25 October 2024, 8.30am to 5.30pm
