Reception Network Meeting

Audience:

Reception teachers and teaching assistants

Course description:

To provide an opportunity for Reception practitioners to reflect on implementing the EYFS framework, including assessment practices. Delegates will take part in professional discussions with other Reception practitioners, be encouraged to ask questions, share good practice and network across schools.

The course will include:

• Discussion on classroom interactions
• Formative assessment
• Child initiated and focused teaching

This session will focus on one or more areas of learning but these will be decided and communicated to delegates nearer the time.

Please note we will not be focusing on ELGs at this point in the year but areas of learning as a whole. 

Outcomes:

• Better understanding of the EYFS curriculum and more ideas for implementation
