Course description:

This course will support Reception practitioners in developing their formative assessment practice to impact on quality throughout the Reception year. It will also consider the role EYFSP within this process.

  • Formative assessment—what it looks like
  • Child initiated and focused teaching
  • Understanding the ELGs and the statutory reporting arrangements
